Terry's Book
Each of us is here, for some brief time, and for part of the participation that the universe allows us in its larger existence, is to ask questions, and to pass on, from schoolchild to schoolchild, the joy of wondering, of asking, and of telling each other what we know and what we don't know.
I am writing to document some of the memories of thoughts and events of significance which might give some insight into how I arrived to where I am, and for that matter, my family, to how you arrived to where you are. I have tried to be as accurate as possible about the main events and have taken literary license in areas less germane to the essence of this document. In order to establish history, I have drawn liberally from the World Wide Web for reference. I thank my mother and father for allowing me to discover the world in my own way. I thank my sister Lucia for being and for being there for me whenever I needed an ear or a shoulder. I thank other members of my family, especially my brother Larry for assistance in helping me recollect those foggy times of my youth. I am indebted to my dear friend Michael Trombetta for both sharing the wonderful experiences of pre-teen and teen years and of helping wrench out memories from their recesses.
Most of all, I thank and dedicate this work to my loving wife, Suzanne, my children – Michele, Yvette, Christopher, and Neal and my grandchildren – Megan, Matt, Rachele, Reece, Rebecca, and Scott. They are the reason I can look at my life with satisfaction and rest in the knowledge that whatever mistakes I may have made the end result made it worth the journey.
